This was actually my cousin's wedding present! She wanted a weekend away that they could enjoy on their motorcycle. I asked where do you want to go? And as most people say - I don't know. I just want to get away!
I focused on a doable distance that would be best for a half day off of work for a mini-break weekend. I also concentrated on having fun while riding their motorcycle as well as activities both of them would enjoy.
I found a location that might work - Dubuque Iowa. I know - doesn't sound really exciting does it! But here is the beauty in travel design and that is: never judging a book by it's cover and X never marking the spot. There were some scenic drives in the area which are perfect for motorcycling. I found activities like John Deere engine factory tours, a unique cemetery, National Park Services site and thus a trip was born!
It doesn't have to be on the back of the motorcycle.
