After purchasing a mobile home on winter vacation in Arizona, a retired couple needs to get their RV back to their regular home in Nebraska.
The purpose of the trip is to try out their new home while on the road. Testing out everything helps them to get a better understanding of how they want to live as they use the RV on other trips. Figuring out what to equip inside for comfort, how the RV handles and how they handle RV life are all part of the action plan while getting back home. Why not enjoy the journey and get some work done as well?
They made the most of getting their new toy back home by testing out the RV, their skills and stopping to have fun along the way.
Just because the trip had very specific goals, didn't mean they couldn't have fun. Stopping at popular National Park sites such as the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Arches & Rocky Mountains let's them not only see our beautiful National Parks but gives them an opportunity to experience how to navigate popular locations in the future.
Since these were newer RV owners, the trip needed to be kind of easy to help them get more comfortable with their new purchase. It's stressful driving something much larger then you normally handle. Lots of easy to navigate major roads, pull thru campsites and minimal hours each day to avoid fatigue on the road.
